Founded in 1960, Powell Craft have concentrated their business on producing quality handmade nightwear, with the idea of preserving our cultural themes. Purely Simple stocks a range of these exquisite products which incorporate trains, soldiers, fairies and flowers as well as smocking and fabric covered buttons.

These products are handmade from 100% cotton and produced by manufacturers who have all been visited and audited to ensure fair wages are paid to employees and they are ethically produced.

In line with Purely Simple's ethical approach to business, a contribution from profits generated through the sale of many of their garments is given to a charity involved in running mobile Creches. This is a charity in India for young children and their working mothers who live in poverty. While adults toil, young children suffer neglect and the older ones bear the responsibility of adult chores. Mobile Creches provides childcare services and currently have 25 day care centres operating.
